Meet the Founder

Before the age of thirteen, public speaking was downright impossible for me. I struggled to even start daily conversations or stand up for myself when I needed to. And because I spent so much time being silent, somewhere along the way, I internalized that I didn’t deserve to be heard. This all changed when I was in eighth grade, when my English teacher taught his class how to give a presentation. And at first, I was terrible. But as I kept practicing, I became slightly less terrible. And when I joined speech and debate in my freshman year of high school, I began to enjoy public speaking. And what’s more important, I started to regain the self-confidence that I’d lost. Because the truth is, we all deserve to be heard, not just seen. Our stories are all worth sharing.
